I was learning to make a Monster book mark with room 27.
I found it a bit tricky to rule 15cm  squares and trying to put the 7cm square in the monsters mouth
when it was glued. I would like to do it again because it was really fun.

My chart shows that I have improved. I have been working on my times tables and division. I still need to work on my 9x table to get better.

I was learning to use different painting skills to paint a view on Auckland. I found stipple easy to do and I need to work on drag because I put too much blue paint on it. I am proud of my art work.

I was learning to use strategies to solve the math problems 36+29.

I found using the strategies easy because I new the strategies already so I used what I knew.

Next time I will choose the decimal calculation to work on.

I was learning to summarise a news item from Kiwi Kids News.To do this I had to find a news item, read it and then find the important bits of information. I then I had to write this in my own words.

I found summarising a news item in my own words hard and I need to work on speeding up!

I chose this photo because surf kayaking was my favourite activity.

It was a bit tricky because I had to drag the kayak to the sea and the waves were 

pushing it back. I liked surf kayaking because the waves bash me around. I would like to have another go at tree climb because we didn't make it to half way.

MY REFLECTION
I was learning to write a Kennings poem.
I was proud of my new words because they were words that I looked up in the thesaurus.
My next step is to look up more words in the thesaurus and use capital letters at the start
of each line.
